Every parent of a school-age kid asks the same question sooner or later: what should my child be practising right now?
As of this month, SwypeLearn answers it. Every grade from 1 to 8 now has a learning plan that runs week by week through the school year, and every week comes with a page written for the parent.
A plan, week by week
Open the plan and you see the year laid out, week by week, in a sensible order. When a week arrives, its practice decks arrive with it. Your child does not have to pick a topic, and neither do you.
The plan bends. If your child's class is ahead, skip a topic. If a week was lost to a cold, push it back. If the teacher is taking things in a different order, bend the week to match. The plan is a starting point, and it is yours to shape.
A page for the parent
Each week has a short note written for you. It explains what the topic is, walks through a worked example with a simple drawing, and gives you a sense of what "getting it" looks like. It is written in plain language with no curriculum jargon, and it prints on two pages if you like having paper on the fridge.
Every note for every grade was written and then reviewed against the plan before it shipped.
Decks a person has read
Practice decks for the plan are drafted with AI, checked by automated rules and a second AI reviewer that looks for anything false or too hard to read, and then read and approved by a person before any child sees them. A deck that has not been approved is never served. If the plan changes underneath a deck, that deck stops being used until a new version is reviewed.
We think that is the right bar for something a seven-year-old practises with every day.
