Hey, thanks for stopping by. This is the Nov8 Labs blog, and honestly, we're pretty excited to have it up and running.
So what is this place? It's where we'll be sharing what we're working on, what we're learning, and the occasional behind-the-scenes look at how things get built around here. No corporate fluff. Just real updates from the people actually making the stuff.
A little about us
We're a small team based in Toronto and Calgary building software that (we hope) makes people's lives a little easier. Our first few products are focused on education and operations. Think tools for daycares, learning apps for kids, that kind of thing.
We started Nov8 Labs because we kept running into the same problem. The tools people needed either didn't exist or were way too complicated. So we figured, why not build them ourselves?
What we're building
Right now we've got three products in the works:
SwypeLearn is a micro-learning app that feels more like scrolling through your favourite app than sitting in a classroom. Quick challenges, real progress, and kids actually like using it. Wild, right?
CogniQ is a cognitive training app for kids aged 6 to 13. Nine different modules covering everything from reading speed to logical thinking. It adapts to each kid's level so nobody gets bored and nobody gets left behind.
PaperBridge takes the mountain of paper records that daycares deal with every day and turns them into organized, searchable digital files. If you've ever worked in a daycare, you know how big of a deal that is.
What to expect
We'll be posting updates on all three, plus whatever else comes up along the way. New features, lessons learned, the occasional win, and yeah, probably a few fails too.
If any of that sounds interesting, stick around. We're just getting started and the best stuff is still ahead.
Glad you're here.
